How World Numbers handles information and how Google advertising works on this site.

Operator: Seven Seas Capital LLC. Updated: October 16, 2026.

Information used to operate the site

When you visit, the hosting provider and service operators may process technical request information such as your IP address, browser and device details, request time, and the page requested to deliver, secure, and troubleshoot the site. Official data is fetched or published with its source and reporting period.

Your display preferences are kept in browser storage. The “Since you arrived” feature stores this tab’s visit start time, the public estimation rate and banner preference in session storage so the counter continues across pages and refreshes. This feature does not send its timer to an analytics service or create a visitor account. Closing the tab normally ends the visit; browser session restoration may restore it. Privacy choices are stored in your browser so they can be remembered. The site does not offer visitor accounts.

Analytics

If Google Analytics is enabled for this site, its tag loads only after you permit analytics in the privacy choices. Google Analytics may use cookies, device identifiers, IP addresses, and similar technologies to measure how visitors use the site. We configure the tag to send page views without query strings. You can reject analytics or change your choice using .

Advertising and Google AdSense

Ad spaces are labeled “Advertisements” and appear separately from the site’s controls and editorial content. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to serve and measure ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s prior visits to this site or other websites. Google’s advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits.

Where enabled, the advertising tag waits for an advertising choice. Global Privacy Control disables advertising on this site. For users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google requires a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework when serving personalized ads. Advertising must remain disabled for those regions until the appropriate consent flow is configured and returns valid consent.

You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, learn how Google uses data on partner sites, or opt out of some participating companies’ interest-based advertising at aboutads.info. Other ad providers may offer their own controls.

Email announcements

If you sign up for new-board announcements, the form sends your email address, consent, consent version, request time, and signup source to the configured email service. Double opt-in is requested. The form is unavailable when that service is not configured. You can unsubscribe using the link in an announcement. We do not sell subscriber email addresses.

Choices and browser controls

Choose Accept all, Reject optional, or Customize when the privacy prompt appears. You can reopen it at any time using “Privacy choices” in the footer. Necessary storage supports site operation and cannot be switched off through this control. Browser settings can also clear or block storage. A browser’s Global Privacy Control signal is honored for advertising.

Children

World Numbers is a general-audience data publication, not a service directed to children under 13. Do not submit a child’s personal information through the newsletter form.
